In our frequent fantasy and fashion-filled daydreams, the recurring object of our affections is Rachel Zoe – perhaps as a close family member who generously opens her closet to us (wink, wink: on an everyday basis).
Not only have we adopted her unique sartorial senses, but her flair for words has also crept into our lives, making terms like ‘shutting it down’, ‘bananas!’ and ‘I die’ part of our daily fashion repertoire. So when the fashion icon started tweeting (even writing about a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels she is currently obsessed with), her profile became part of our style radar. Zoe provides a behind-the-scenes view into her life, sharing her favorite things, projects she’s working on, pictures of herself at events, and even the occasional comeback to those whose dispute her real age (37, thank you very much). And in true Twitter fashion, the typically short messages are no less fascinating than her reality show – until such time that it returns for a second season, that is.
