Yayoi Kusama is a conceptual artist who works in a variety of mediums, and her latest endeavor is a collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Kusama has spent decades moving between obscurity and spotlight, but a recent renewed interest in her pop-art stylings has given her the buzz necessary to crest the wave to a fanfare-ridden fashion collaboration. Earlier this summer, Louis Vuitton and Kusama released a small collection of clothes and luxury goods, and, on September 14, their capsule bag collection drops.
