Jason Wu’s latest fall/winter accessories collection appeals to a more mature constituency.

Pleasing contained shapes, minimal lines and surfaces, and keen details such as bar pins and velvet fabrics keep the mod influence of this collection from being overwhelming. Wu has had time to perfect the Asian-inspired message that he showed on the runway in February. Instead of making it the central focus of his accessories collection, he allows it to bleed in subtly in the form of brocade shoulder bags and Asian patterns.
