Temporary tattoos

We never thought we’d see the day that tattoos would be associated with high fashion on the runway.

But with major fashion houses like Chanel, Rodarte, and Jean Paul Gaultier presenting temporary tats on their spring runways, it seems the unexpected body adornments are one of the season’s biggest beauty trends. From Chanel’s dainty and charming tattoos (in the shape of the brand’s iconic accessories!) that can be cut and pasted anywhere on the body to Rodarte’s polar extreme – the colossal tribal tats – that cover two entire arms, the message designers were sending out for spring is loud and clear: other-worldly tattoos are here to stay.
