We tip our hats off to Alexa Chung. She has officially managed to cross over from unhealthy Brit obsession to industry phenom in a short matter of time.

And now, with her show It’s On With Alexa Chung premiering on MTV from today, we predict the trendsetter is going to achieve global infamy with commercial audiences for her distinctly quirky -- yet effortless -- sartorial senses. Who else could show up to the Women of Fashion event in a simple trench coat and look so utterly fashionable? Here she is at the New York Palace hotel dressed down in tights and a classic Chanel bag, looking fresh-faced and comfortable despite her sky-high YSL pumps.
