This year’s Academy Awards brought us lots of color and metallics as even our favorite red-carpet heavy-hitters gear up for spring!

From decadent pastel dresses to gorgeous ruffled gowns, 2010’s Oscars proved to have some of the most on-the-trend, au courant red carpet moments we’ve seen in ages. Case in point: Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock in a shimmering Marchesa number and our favorite red carpet veteran – none other than Diane Kruger – in a stunning pastel (and ruffled!)
