Best of Miami Swim 2010

The Miami Swim shows kicked off to a great start on Saturday with some seriously chic and sophisticated beach attire we cannot wait to get our sandy paws in!

We’ve pulled some of the best images of the shows for your perusal, with looks ranging from sultry bikinis to elegant head-to-toe ensembles. Among the best are CIA.Maritima’s gorgeous kaftans, V Del Sol’s divine sundresses and Luli Fama’s brightly-colored two-pieces.

The skin-tight jersey dresses showcased in almost every show featured either paisley or kaleidoscopic prints, ranging in color from turquoises and oranges to simple blacks and whites. The key trend in beachwear is cut-out swimsuits, although one must wonder the practicality of tanning in a piece slashed from side to side. And accompanying almost every outfit was either a statement necklace or a cuff, reinforcing the current accessory favorites well into the next swim (and ready-to-wear!) seasons.
