Akris
Swiss label Akris gets the coffee-table-book treatment in a new release curated by FIT’s museum director Valerie Steele.
This book, published by Assouline, celebrates 90 years of Akris domination in the women’s luxury market, and traces its storied history from 1922 to 2012. It comes replete with conversations with Akris’ designer Albert Kriemler and giant glossy photos of Akris’ past collections. For the fashion historian, this is definitely a must-have.
