Dior Fall 2010 runway shoes
Riding in from his equestrian-themed haute couture show in January, John Galliano’s triumphant fall runway presented similarly-minded shoes with a chic English twist.
The fantastic collection of buckled boots and sheer lace booties were the perfect accompaniment to Galliano’s vision of French-romanticism-meets-beloved-English-riding-tweeds: chocolate leather capes, taupe wool jodhpurs, and burgundy jacquard coats were contrasted with pale printed silk dresses, all ending at the feet with too-hot-to-trot boots in neutral tones, mostly paired with gorgeous hosiery (like knee-length ruffled socks or seductive patterned tights).
