It’s written in the stars: much like life where serendipitous encounters and fateful wanderings work together as pieces of a puzzle to eventually form a beautiful picture, Alessandro Michele‘s Cosmogonie line for Gucci Resort 2023 encompasses elements that, at first, appear to be scattered but are, in fact, a part of a complex assembly. Inspired by mystical star systems composed of celestial bodies that dazzle individually but also play significant roles in the formation of constellations, the Gucci Cosmogonie collection builds on this idea of stars working in tandem.

Staging a mesmerizing show against the historical backdrop of the Castel del Monte in Andria, Italy, Michele did what he does best and unveiled a series of looks defined by brilliant constructions, delicate embellishments, sharp silhouettes, daring cut-outs, and eclectic motifs, complemented by super elegant tailoring for both women and men — all evoking the mystical night sky. Drawing inspiration from the constellations that illuminate the night, the Gucci Cosmogonie line is designed with sparkling details.
